The organization is driving digital transformation for the entire company by initiating new technology and application solutions and assist businesses in process transformation. Under the direct responsibility of Head of IT, IT Technical Development Lead is responsible to:

Keep up to date with the technology stack.

Work with Solution Architect, Data Architect and Infrastructure team as gate keeper to the overall IT landscape that will meet the business and organization digital ambition as defined in the IT landscape.

Responsibilities:

Own and design end-to-end software architecture across multiple platforms (web, mobile, API, backend).

Manages the technical resources allocation to ensure development work are optimally assigned according to developer skills and expertise so that assigned task can be completed on time with high quality.

Ensure the development activities are performed at the highest quality by internal staff and vendor to support the digital transformation initiatives.

Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors and third-party technology partners for project initiative.

Be part of the requirement gathering on new solutions or integration with various systems.

Leads the execution of the team’s objective, personal development plan and upskill of the development team.

Maintain strong working relationships with solutions delivery peers and other IT Delivery partners.

Provide technical expertise in design, development approach, coding etc to ensure the right solution is developed and/or implemented.

Responsible to define the development framework, development languages, documentation and release control strategy.

Responsible for critical program development, integration issues and function design concerns that could impact the timeline or quality of implementation.

Document architecture diagrams, technical design specs, and integration strategies.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

5-8 years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a solution architecture role.

Strong knowledge and experience in SDLC framework.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including .NET (C#), Python, Node.js, and PHP.

Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Experience with native or hybrid mobile app development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter).

Experience with API design and integration., e.g. REST, SOAP, gRPC, GraphQL.

Experience with SAP integration, e.g. RFC or IDoc.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines for backend deployment and integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Proven experience in system architecture and design.

Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.

Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS).

Working knowledge of API gateways (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway, NGINX) and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
