Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in inventory systems, ERP, or IT support are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting inventory management systems, ERP solutions, or similar applications. (Supply chain/ WMS/ Finance).
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues, system integration, and user support.
  • Familiar with SQL (queries, joins, filters) and Excel (Power Query, Pivot, XLOOKUP).
  • Understanding of system integration (POS, procurement, finance) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exposure to SSRS or SSIS reporting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of retail or outlet inventory processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiar with manufacturing or food industry operations preferred (FEFO, shelf life, allergens, lot/batch, recall readiness).
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Job Descriptions

Responsibilities
  • Operations & User Support
    • Act as the first-line support (L1/L2) for ERP users—troubleshoot transactions or posting errors, workflow rejections, access issues, and configuration gaps.
    • Document all issues in a ticketing system; escalate unresolved cases to Assistant Manager (ERP) or vendor (L3) with clear logs and steps to reproduce.
    • Assist in user account setup, access management, and ensuring proper segregation of duties.
    • Monitor daily ERP batch jobs, integration syncs (e.g., POS/WMS/Finance), and ensure timely resolution of failed jobs.
    • Respond promptly to support tickets or urgent instructions from superiors or key users, including after working hours when required during month-end closing, production downtime, or project deployment.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Maintain and verify master data for items, vendors, BOMs, price lists, bins, and users.
    • Prepare and validate data uploads using templates and scripts (Excel, CSV, SQL).
    • Develop and maintain simple SSRS reports or ad-hoc SQL queries for tracking inventory, GRN, and costing.
    • Assist in reconciliation between ERP data and external systems (e.g., Power BI, POS, Finance systems).
  • Project Implementation & UAT
    • Support ERP enhancement or rollout activities: prepare test data, execute test scripts, and document results.
    • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-go-live support (“hypercare”).
    • Coordinate with internal users and vendors during change deployment and ensure successful cutover.
    • Maintain version control and documentation of ERP changes and configurations.
