About The Role
We’re seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team. This role provides essential support and system administration across Prenetics’ global workforce. You’ll be key to ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding, system reliability, and exceptional user experience across a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and system support across Prenetics offices and remote teams
- Own and execute onboarding/offboarding procedures: device provisioning, account setup, orientation, and hardware recovery
- Administer IT systems including email, office apps, network resources, and end-user devices
- Deliver distributed remote support: troubleshooting, hardware repair coordination, and office support
- Maintain and expand IT documentation for internal teams and the company-wide knowledge base (Confluence)
- Manage and track hardware/software inventory and asset lifecycle
- Perform security-related tasks: system audits, awareness campaigns, documentation, and user access reviews
- Conduct off-hour preventative and emergency network maintenance (e.g., firmware upgrades)
- Enhance automation and efficiency in routine processes, with focus on hybrid work (e.g., zero-touch deployment, zero trust policies)
- Recommend improvements to IT security practices and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support
- Hands-on experience maintaining LAN infrastructure: firewalls, switches, access points, VPN, and CCTV systems
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk)
- Skilled in writing technical documentation (e.g., Confluence, Google Drive)
- Proficient in business tools: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, D365
- Comfortable supporting Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Passionate about solving problems and helping others
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Sound knowledge of networking concepts: TLS, TCP/IP, network infrastructure, and security
