Job summary

A leading company in hardwood flooring is seeking an Information Technology Support Executive to provide hardware and software support, manage user accounts, and ensure system maintenance. The successful candidate will have a diploma in IT, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support.
• Knowledge in SAP Business One is a plus.

Job description

· Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues for end-users.

· Troubleshoot problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.

2. User Management:

· Create and manage user accounts, including setting permissions and access controls.

· Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and other user access issues.

3. System Maintenance:

· Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on computers and servers.

· Assist in the monitoring of network performance and respond to outages or slowdowns.

4. Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support tickets.

· Document procedures and troubleshooting steps for common issues.

5. Support for IT Projects:

· Assist in the implementation of new technologies or systems.

· Support IT team members in larger projects, such as server migrations or network upgrades.

Job Success Requirements

· Minimum Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology.

· At least 2 years of working experience in related field.

· Knowledge in SAP Business One would be an added advantage.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
