Job summary

Tokio Marine Insurance Group in Malaysia is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software and applications to meet business objectives under the IT projects and initiatives.

You will support BAU with second-level SLA, upgrade software to meet user and compliance requirements, and contribute to planning and research for solutions. A degree in IT/CS and at least two years’ experience are required, with preference for full-stack development or data engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in software engineering; 1 year in IT-related projects.
• Experience in full-stack development or data engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases (MS SQL / MySQL or equivalent).
• Familiar with SDLC and development tools (IDE, text editor, SQL tools, source control).
• Familiar with web development technologies, standards and protocols.

Requirements
