Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain MES, CIM, ERP, HRMS, web applications and/or e-business systems.
• Work closely with other functional teams to deliver customer/user IT requests in a timely manner.
• Gather requirements for system enhancement/modification from customer/user.
• Participate and contribute to all phases of the application development life cycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from the application systems and the interfaces to other systems.
• Provide relevant system and user documentation.
• Keep abreast of latest developments and have keen interests in researching leading trends in software development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related qualification.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years application development experience using programming/scripting tools such as Visual Basic, C#, Java, ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS, PHP, Perl, Python, MS Transact SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL.
• Work experience with Agile/Scrum software development approach.
• Application development experience with MES, Factory Automation, ERP, HRMS, web applications and/or e-business systems will be an added advantage.
• Customer/user IT requests fulfilment and support within the stipulated timeline.
• Knowledge of stored procedures and SSIS packages development and enhancement for relational databases.
• Strong technical background with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interaction skills with customer/user is required.
