Ams Osram is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support central functions and business objectives across IT, HR, logistics, compliance, and finance.

The role focuses on defect management, system modifications, testing, and collaboration with internal IT and external vendors; Jira and Confluence experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or above in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in semiconductor industry.
• Professional Knowledge in Defect Management System, Automatic Defect Classification, Linux, SQL/Oracle, Python, Windows, Requirements Engineering, Machine Learning.
• Need to be highly motivated to take initiative, assume ownership of applications and projects.
• Experience with working with colleagues abroad is good to have.
• Good written and spoken English language is mandatory.

• Understand business requirements, develop and configure necessary system modifications, perform testing and document results.
• Handle emergency requests or calls with highest dedication; proactively identify and propose system enhancements; provide consulting on both new features and existing solutions.
• Close collaboration with IT team and external software vendor; bring in own ideas and document accordingly.
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
