Job summary

Tentacle Tech is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to own a high-impact GRC initiative, leading design, implementation, and deployment of a GT Exemption Workflow within a leading finance organisation, onsite in Malaysia.

You will coordinate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to streamline exemption processes, ensure policy compliance, and deliver dashboards and reporting. This senior role offers growth within a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of senior project management experience.
• Strong GRC governance and technology risk assessment capability.
• Proven stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing policy compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GT Exemption Workflow design, implementation and deployment.
• Gather requirements from business, risk, compliance and IT stakeholders.
• Standardize processes, automate workflows, and improve controls.
• Ensure compliance with risk policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage delivery, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor risk exposure.
• Support user adoption and audit readiness for the GRC solution.

The Role

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager ready to take ownership of a high-impact governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiative? We are looking for a senior professional to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of a GT Exemption Workflow solution within a leading organisation in the finance sector. This is an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful process transformation while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic, onsite environment.

What You'll Do

• Gather and translate business, risk, and compliance requirements into system solutions and process enhancements
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to streamline exemption submission, assessment, approval, and renewal processes
• Drive process standardization, automation, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and control effectiveness
• Ensure automated processes comply with technology risk policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage project delivery, including planning, testing, deployment, stakeholder communication, and change management
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, metrics, and management information to monitor exemption status and risk exposure
• Support user adoption, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and audit readiness for the automated GRC solution

What We're Looking For

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in project management within a senior capacity
• Strong project management, GRC governance, and technology risk assessment capabilities
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
• Experience ensuring policy compliance and managing project risks and dependencies
• Skilled in delivering governance reporting and maintaining audit readiness
• Ability to support risk-based decision-making in a complex, regulated environment
