The role

In the role of a PO IAM, you will actively engage with Product Owners, Engineers, Application Owners, Project Managers, IT Security Architects, and Enterprise Architects for planning, building, and evolving a secure and user-centric Identity and Access Management (IAM) landscape with both technical and management audiences. Moreover, you will also provide leadership to projects, engineering teams and manage backlog tasks, including budgets, spends, contracts, and supplier relationships, evolving into a people leadership role in the future.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Owners, Engineers, Application Owners, Project Managers, IT Security Architects, and Enterprise Architects to plan, build, and evolve a secure IAM landscape.
• Lead projects and engineering teams; manage backlog tasks, budgets, spends, contracts, and supplier relationships.
• Develop supportive governance and processes around IAM, aligning with risk, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Evolve into a people leadership role in the future.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in building and running an enterprise-level IAM function.
• Experience with industry-standard frameworks and governance processes including risk management, audit, and compliance-related activities.
• Structured with strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
• Vendor-agnostic knowledge and expertise in Identity governance, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Passwordless authentication, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and non-user identities.
