Job description

Are you ready to join a cutting-edge Digital Solution Company and help to shape the future of business IT solutions?

Our client is a leading global provider of IT solutions and services, known for their customer-centric approach to digital transformation. With a rich history dating back to 1996, they have continually evolved to meet the changing needs of their customers. Their services encompass consulting, technology, and outsourcing, delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. They have also been honored multiple times as a top employer, including being named a Great Place To Work from 2015 to 2024.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT PMO Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on business analysis techniques and demonstrable experience in governance, particularly in the development and documentation of policies, guidelines, processes, and templates. This role will be crucial in ensuring the PMO operates efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and PMO practices, leveraging their analytical and governance expertise to drive clarity and efficiency.

Your future responsibilities will include:

  1. Governance Framework Development: Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of PMO governance frameworks, including policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project management templates.
  2. Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation: Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and employ various business analysis techniques to elicit, analyze, and clearly document business needs and translate them into precise and actionable requirements for PMO processes and tools.
  3. Policy and Procedure Authoring: Author clear, concise, and comprehensive policies, guidelines, and process documentation that are easily understood and implemented by PMO stakeholders.
  4. Template Design and Management: Design, develop, and maintain standardized project management templates (e.g., project charters, risk logs, communication plans) to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  5. Process Analysis and Optimization: Analyze existing PMO processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
  6. Data-Driven Governance: Analyze project and PMO data to identify trends, assess compliance with governance frameworks, and recommend data-driven improvements to policies and processes.
  7. Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain a well-organized repository of PMO policies, guidelines, processes, templates, and other relevant documentation, contributing to the PMO's knowledge base and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  8. Support Business Case Development (Governance Perspective): Contribute to the development of business cases by ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and highlighting the impact of proposed projects on PMO processes and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis methodologies and techniques (e.g., UML, process modeling, requirements traceability).
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining PMO governance frameworks – including policies, SOPs, guidelines, and standardized templates.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and practices.
  • Post-Merger Integration experience.
  • Proven ability to author clear, concise, and effective policies, guidelines, processes, and templates.
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex governance concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethics, self-motivated, and able to manage and perform with minimal supervision.
