Job description

The Multimedia & Digital Production will be a key contributor to the creation, optimization, and technical management of diverse digital content, with a primary focus on video editing and visual production. This role encompasses overseeing the creative, artistic, and technical aspects of digital media, from pre-production planning to efficient post-production workflows for sponsored campaigns and brand initiatives. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring high-quality, impactful content that leverages the latest technologies and adheres to technical standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the editing of videos and photos for sponsored campaigns, ensuring content is on-brand and on time.

Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Graphic Designers, and Content Specialists to develop and produce creative materials for a variety of content forms, including video, graphics, text, still imagery, animation, live action, and other content optimized for social media platforms.

Manage all aspects of a project from beginning to end of post-production (video & photos), ensuring a keen eye for accuracy, attention to detail, and understanding of the latest video/graphic design trends.

Assist internal teams in resolving creative production issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner.

TECHNICAL WORKFLOW & ASSET MANAGEMENT (IT & Multimedia):

Utilize and recommend advanced creative software, technologies, and digital publishing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, etc.).

Oversee digital asset management (DAM) for all creative content, ensuring efficient organization, archiving, and accessibility of media files.

Optimize content for various digital platforms and formats, including understanding codecs, compression, and delivery specifications for web, mobile, and social media.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for creative hardware/software used in production, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in digital media, workflow automation, and IT solutions relevant to creative production.

STRATEGIC COLLABORATION & GROWTH INITIATIVES:

Actively participate in huddles, brainstorms, and all team activities, contributing innovative ideas for content and technical solutions.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and creative/technical requirements are met.

Contribute technical insights to pre-production planning and development for sponsored campaigns, shaping brand standards, and ensuring feasible execution.

Execute any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Creative Lead/HOD, supporting overall team and departmental objectives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Technical Proficiency:

Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with professional creative software and technologies (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, etc.).

Intermediate to advanced level in filmmaking, photography, digital imaging, digital platforms, and formats.

Proficiency in Google Suite is essential. Knowledge in task management platforms (e.g., Trello, ClickUp, Monday.com) is a plus.

Understanding of digital codecs, compression, file optimization, and web/mobile delivery specifications.

Experience with digital asset management principles and systems is a plus.

Creative & Artistic Acumen:

A keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in arts and visual storytelling.

Impressive conceptual outlook and the ability to translate requirements into engaging assets suitable for social media.

An intermediate portfolio of past creative production works (video, photography, graphic design, motion graphics, animation).

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Language proficiency in English & BM is a must. Proficiency in other languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, Hindi) will be a plus.

Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative spirit and willingness to pitch in.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Photography, Filmmaking or Video Production, Digital Arts, Information Technology (with a creative focus), or any related disciplines.

Experience: Fresh Grad or with working experience up to 4 years in video production/editing, photography, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, social media, ad agencies, IT support for creative teams, or any other related industry or company.
