Job summary

A leading company is seeking an IT Manager responsible for overseeing local IT services and contributing to the development of IT strategies. This role involves managing operations, budgets, and compliance, ensuring high system performance and reliability. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, extensive experience in IT leadership, particularly in manufacturing, and strong skills in IT governance and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery.
  • Experience in working in a global matrix environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead local IT operations and services for both onsite and remote operations.
  • Plan and manage the local IT budget ensuring alignment with forecasts.
  • Develop and regularly update disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

KeyResponsibilities:

LocalITOperations&Services:

LeadandmanagealllocalITsupportservices,infrastructure,applicationdevelopment,systems,records,andinventoryforbothonsiteandremoteoperations.

Ensurehighavailability,reliability,andperformanceofITsystemstomeetbusinessneeds.

Budget&CostManagement:

Plan,manage,andmonitorthelocalITbudget,ensuringalignmentwithapprovedforecastsandcompliancewithcorporatefinancialprocedures.

DisasterRecovery&BusinessContinuity:

Develop,implement,andregularlyupdatedisasterrecoveryandbusinesscontinuityplanstosafeguardoperationsanddataintegrity.

ITGovernance&ProcessDevelopment:

DefineandimplementlocalITpolicies,processes,andproceduresinalignmentwithglobalITgovernance,securitycontrols,andregulatoryrequirements.

ManagelocalandinternationalITserviceproviders,ensuringservicelevels(SLAs)areconsistentlymetandvendorrelationshipsareoptimized.

OverseeITleasingandoutsourcingagreementswithefficiencyandaccountability.

PerformanceMetrics&Reporting:

Establish,monitor,andreportonITKPIsandmetricstoensureserviceexcellenceandsupportbusinessobjectives.

Compliance&Audit:

Ensurefullcompliancewithinternalpolicies,corporatestandards,andlocallegal/regulatoryframeworks.

Supportinternalandexternalaudits,addressingfindingsandimplementingcorrectiveactions.

Lead,mentor,anddevelopthelocalITteam.

Driveacultureofcontinuousimprovement,performanceexcellence,andtechnicalcompetency.

ActivelyparticipateintheglobalITleadershipcommunityundertheCIO.

SupportglobalITstrategies,enterprisecomputinginitiatives,anddigitaltransformationgoals.

Qualifications&Requirements:

Bachelor’sdegreeinInformationTechnology,ComputerScience,orarelatedfield(Master’sdegreeorrelevantcertificationspreferred).

8 yearsofprogressiveITleadershipexperience,preferablyinamultinationalormanufacturingenvironment

ProvenexperienceinmanagingIToperations,infrastructure,applicationdevelopment,andservicedelivery.

StrongknowledgeofITgovernance,cybersecurity,compliance(e.g.,ISO,GDPR,localdatalaws).

FamiliaritywithERPsystem(SAPECC6&S/4HANA),ManufacturingExecutionSystems(MES)andapplicationdevelopmenttechnologies.

Excellentstakeholdermanagement,problem-solving,anddecision-makingabilities.

Effectivecommunicatorwiththeabilitytoinfluenceatalllevelsoftheorganization.

Experienceworkinginaglobalmatrixenvironmentishighlydesirable.
