Oversee the management, maintenance, and configuration of servers, network infrastructure, and IT systems.
To maintain and help out on ERP, Cybersecurity, Industry 4.0
Provide support for PC desktop, laptop, printers, firewall, internet configuration, access points, WIFI, switches, CCTV, door access system, email, anti-virus, network system, DNS, etc. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Coordinate, follow up, and settle with suppliers/vendors on issues arising from hardware, software, system integration, repair, maintenance contracts, and warranty claims.
Propose and implement system and network operation improvement ideas. Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance to ensure minimum/zero downtime.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network problems, and other IT-related concerns. Perform maintenance including installation, configuration, upgrading, and monitoring hardware and software, including networking equipment.
Assist in supervising and leading a team of IT professionals, including IT technicians, support staff, and system administrators.
Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, data encryption, and access controls, to protect the organization's data and systems.
Collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, policies, procedures, and user guides.
Ensure that the organization complies with relevant IT regulations, industry standards, and data protection laws.
To receive and act on any other instructions from the Head of IT.
