IT Manager

We are seeking a dynamic IT Manager to plan, formulate, direct, and oversee the IT operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will manage IT infrastructure, policies, network security, team performance, and disaster recovery strategies to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Policies, Procedures & Compliance: Review, update, and implement policies to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with relevant legislation.
2. IT Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, project roadmaps, and annual IT expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations. Lead and develop the IT team.
3. Network & Security Management: Manage and monitor network security, including firewall, antivirus systems, and network performance. Address security vulnerabilities and external threats.
4. Server & VMWare Management: Monitor server performance and health, implement necessary updates, and ensure system compliance and security.
5. Second Level Support: Manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Provide user training to improve IT proficiency.
6. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee backup systems and disaster recovery plans, ensuring all data is accessible and recoverable during emergencies.
7. Projects & Execution: Oversee and support the execution of IT-related projects. Identify potential issues and facilitate resolutions to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or equivalent. Any IT Professional certification (Microsoft/Cisco/EC-Council etc) will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology field with experience in Planning & Organizing, Problem Solving, Time Management and Communications.
3. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Proficient in Network infrastructure, Wintel Server environment & Microsoft products.
