Job Summary:

The Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure Management is responsible fordesigning, implementing, and maintainingClient’s IT infrastructure, ensuringhigh availability and scalability. This role overseesnetwork architecture, cloud solutions, and IT service management, ensuring seamless operations to support Client’soperational readiness by January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute theIT infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with client’s business objectives.
• Establishgovernance frameworksfor IT operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Define and enforcebest practices for infrastructure management, cloud computing, and disaster recovery.

Network & Cloud Management

• Oversee thedesign, implementation, and optimizationof Client’snetwork architecture.
• Managecloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
• Ensurehigh availability and performanceof IT systems, minimizing downtime.
• Leaddata centre operations, including storage, backup, and recovery solutions.

IT Service Management & Operations

• ImplementITIL-based service managementpractices for efficient IT operations.
• Monitorsystem performance, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
• Ensuretimely resolution of IT incidents, minimizing impact on business operations.
• Leadchange management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for new technologies.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships withtechnology vendors, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Overseeprocurement and contract negotiationsfor IT infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto align IT operations with business needs.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build and mentor ahigh-performing IT operations team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Providetechnical leadership and guidanceon infrastructure architecture and security.
• Ensure continuoustraining and skill developmentfor IT staff.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Monitornetwork and system health, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conductvendor meetings, tracking service levels and issue resolution.
• Review and approvechange requests, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Generatedaily reportson system uptime, security incidents, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experiencein IT infrastructure management, with expertise innetwork architecture and cloud computing.
• Strong knowledge ofSQL Server, database management, and IT service frameworks.
• Proven track record inlarge-scale IT project managementwith strict deadlines.
• Experience invendor negotiations, contract management, and IT governance.
• Excellentleadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
