Job summary

A leading company in printing is looking for an Information Technology Executive in Kulai, Malaysia. You will be responsible for systems management, including firewall maintenance, server setups, and ensuring cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in IT and 2 years of relevant experience. Programming knowledge in ERP software like Navision is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in IT in a customer-facing technical role.
• Knowledge on setup and maintenance of servers and networks.
• Familiar with Microsoft environments and ERP software such as Navision.

Job description

Install, configure, and maintain firewall, servers, and networks.

Accountable for network setup, annual server maintenance.

Oversee system performance, alerts and troubleshooting issues, including systems upgrades.

Maintain internal documentation and policies.

Sustain network integrity, server deployment, and security.

Monitor and maintain network servers - file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.

Ensure high-level cybersecurity and efficiency through access controls, backups and firewalls.

Daily CCTV checks and performance.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.

Execute vulnerability assessment remedial action, user training, support, advice, and feedback.

Collaborate with vendors for equipment maintenance.

Assist with external auditors during IT Audits, OSPAR etc.

Perform other duties as required.

Experience with ERP software such as Navision is an added advantage. Programming experience in Navision will be highly valued.

Candidate with previous experience as helpdesk or deskside support in a customer facing technical role may apply

Required experience in a Microsoft environment running Windows software and office 365. Good understanding of the fundamentals in TCP/IP
