Job description

• Maintain and provide technical support in all the IT infrastructure, LAN & WAN, Systems and hardware & software to ensure smooth daily business operation.
• Perform installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
• Provide helpdesk support to end users on IT problems encountered.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.
• Set up workstations with computers or POS Systems and necessary peripheral devices (Wi-Fi, routers, etc)
• Import menu/promotion material into the POS System.
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Ensure security and privacy of network computer systems.
• Liaise with networking contractor/service provider to ensure our IT functions properly all the time.
• Responsibility for undertaking routine preventative jobs. Perform regular system health check audits.
• Assist in optimizing the organization’s technology resources and recommend future technology direction and new technology initiatives.
• Develop IT-related SOP (e.g. Flowchart, video, etc)
• Provide orientation and guidance to outlets on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
• Prepare activity reports/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Prepare activity reports upon investigation and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain records of POS license status.
• Any other assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• At least a Degree or above in any Computer Science / Information Technology / Computing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT-related field.
• Able to travel within Johor Bahru area.
• Able to work at Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
• A strong sense of discretion and confidentiality is required.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
