Company Background:

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide daily, on-site and remote support for (MES, SFC, QDM, IOT) for overseas factory (Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, India)
  
• Diagnose and resolve issues in MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases; tune queries, manage backups, and coordinate with DBAs for performance improvements.
• Provide IT support for production databases troubleshooting
• Assist China IT to troubleshoot, bug fix application / database error
• Assist the wider IT team (network, desktop, infrastructure) as workload requires.
• Participate in overseas factory setup project.
• May need to travel to regional office for onsite support
  
• Help out with other IT support role if needed (10‐20%)

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2-4 years hands-on experience supporting MES / SFC applications in a manufacturing environment
• Solid troubleshooting skills with MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle (query optimization, stored procedures, backups).
• Mandarin-reading skill to interface smoothly with China IT documentation.
• Possess a pro‐active attitude towards end users and a good working attitude
• Familiarity with production hardware (barcode printers, scanners, label printers).
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Report to IT Manager (based in Singapore)

Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (5 days works)

Salary Range: RM5k -RM8k
