A leading company in the technology sector is seeking an Information Technology Engineer to manage both on-premises and cloud servers. The role involves providing technical support, ensuring cybersecurity, and developing disaster recovery plans. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT and relevant experience managing IT infrastructure, with expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and server administration.

Manage and optimize Microsoft Office 365 services, including Active Directory synchronization, Outlook, SharePoint, and collaborative tools.
Administer on-premises and cloud-based servers, ensuring secure and efficient operation of virtual machines, networking components, and storage solutions.
Implement and manage comprehensive backup strategies for servers and databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
Provide responsive technical support to end-users via the Helpdesk Ticketing system, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce robust information security policies and practices to safeguard systems, networks, and data.
Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, implementing preventive measures and conducting security assessments.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or cyber incidents.
Manage and optimize LANs, WANs, intranets, and extranets to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of network resources.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
3-5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, including Office 365, servers (on-premises and cloud), and network resources.
Hands-on experience with server administration, backup management, and disaster recovery planning.
Technical support experience in a Helpdesk or IT support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 administration, including Active Directory, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of server administration, virtualization, and network management.
Understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Effective communication skills to interact with end-users and technical teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
