Job description

Mission

We are looking for someone autonomous in delivering support of the network, IT infrastructures and hardware. Besides that, you will contribute to innovations like RFID devices, new solutions and the mechanization of the warehouse. We need someone who can help us build an effective and satisfying IT support service for our end users. You are also required to work with other countries and play a crucial role in achieving company projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Technical Support

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for digital solutions.
  • Deeply understand the architecture and schema of digital products.
  • Efficiently resolve Level 2 support issues and problems.
  • Manage incidents, DRP and BCP within the SLA.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external SLA agreements.
  • Develop detailed support guides and procedures.
  • Compile reports and utilize data for strategic decision-making and improvements.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and asset lifecycle (licensing, inventory, purchase & disposal).
  • Collaborate with project managers on integrations.
  • Independently handle product deployments.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Understand Decathlon's infrastructure and the roles of external suppliers.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between teams.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the Decathlon Technical Community.
  • Identify team responsibilities and ensure effective parameter management.
  • Build a network of reliable contacts within various teams.
  • Understand the needs of Product Owners and IT leaders on a global scale.
  • Provide support and guidance to teammates.
  • Learn and understand the roles and responsibilities of other teams.

Supplier Management

  • Understand the organization and workflows of different suppliers.
  • Raise alerts and provide support according to established workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers on new developments and bug fixes.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of supplier capabilities and expectations.
  • Manage vendors and hold them accountable for execution and work-related activities.

Infrastructure Management

  • Ensure the production environment is optimized and meets Decathlon’s security standards.
  • Delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Identify and recommend new tools to enhance product support.
  • Quickly learn how different IT tools communicate and integrate.
  • Prioritise security, developing and adhering to security procedures.
  • Ensure that the solutions offered are in line with the company's strategies and meet the needs of users

Profile

Technical Skills

SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Networking (Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls & Meraki products)
  • Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, or proprietary embedded systems)
  • Database Management (e.g., SQL)
  • Security (Data protection, PCI compliance etc.)
  • Scripting and Automation (e.g., in PowerShell, Macro, Apps Script & AppSheet)
  • Having good COBOL, AS400, IBM iSeries, SQL/MYSQL and DB skills are a plus.
  • POS Software Knowledge (added point)
  • Knowledge in SDWAN/Meraki, robotics and AS400 will be advantageous.
