Virtual Environment Management
Administer and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms.

User Account Administration
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems. Create, modify, and deactivate accounts; reset passwords; and manage access privileges in line with company policy.

Infrastructure Optimization & Troubleshooting
Monitor and troubleshoot virtual environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.

Technical Support
Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to help desk requests and resolve issues efficiently.

System Updates & Backups
Conduct regular software updates, security patches, and system backups to maintain data integrity and system reliability.

Hardware & Software Deployment
Set up and configure new hardware and software systems. Assist in deploying and testing new technologies and solutions.

Network Management
Support and maintain LANs and WANs, including configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, network switches, and wireless access points. Ensure network performance, uptime, and security.

Interdepartmental Collaboration
Partner with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver tailored IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Project & Upgrade Support
Assist with IT projects, including software implementations, migrations, and technology upgrades.

Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring tasks are completed on time with full closure and documentation.

Job Requirements

The candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

A minimum of 1 year relevant experience in an IT environment, preferably with strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows platform

Knowledge or experience with Firewall solutions

Ability to clearly and concisely transfer technical and business knowledge to the knowledge base, colleagues, and end-users

Experience in IT asset management and inventory control is an added advantage

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Good time management, punctuality, a positive attitude, and high-quality self-management with minimal supervision

Skilled in multitasking, with the ability to prioritize tasks and strong adaptability to changes

Experience with cloud and network technologies, including M365, Azure, Exchange Online, and an understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching
