IT Business Relationship Manager, ANZ - Bangsar South

The IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for ANZ will collaborate with ANZ Commercial business and product owners to craft strategic direction, develop roadmaps, identify improvements, and assess cost-benefit impacts. This role partners with the IT Center of Excellence (CoE) and APAC/International BRM Management to deliver IT solutions that enhance business KPIs while optimizing IT capabilities.
Reporting to the Director of IT Commercial International, the BRM will engage with business stakeholders, IT CoE, and external suppliers to drive value-driven IT solutions. As the primary IT contact for ANZ stakeholders, the BRM facilitates communication between IT functions and business units.

ANZ's IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for developing and handling relationships between Business Leaders, IT Centers of Excellence (COEs), and country business stakeholders. This role acts as a single point of contact, ensuring effective communication and teamwork between IT departments, including InfoSec, Architecture, Data & Analytics, and Infrastructure. The BRM ensures alignment between business needs and IT capabilities while driving stakeholder engagement and happiness by facilitating business decision-making processes and capturing critical business and technical insights.
In addition to relationship management, the BRM coordinates project and program management, particularly in CRM and other key IT initiatives, in collaboration with the COE team. This involves planning, directing, and coordinating projects from initiation to completion while ensuring business priorities are met. The BRM also provides consulting and business analysis, working closely with stakeholders to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and drive improvements in information systems, processes, and organizational change.
The BRM serves as the IT site lead, escalating issues as needed within the IT organization and ensuring alignment with global IT strategies. Acting as a bridge between local businesses and IT communities, the role nurtures the value of IT initiatives, secures active participation from stakeholders, and fosters collaboration to achieve business goals. Through proactive communication and advocacy, the BRM strengthens IT’s role as a strategic enabler of business success.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business, or equivalent experience. While certifications such as PMP, Business Analysis, BRM, Agile, or Project Management are not mandatory, they are highly preferred. The candidate must have at least five years of project management experience in a multinational environment, with a minimum of two years handling demand and translating business strategies into IT initiatives. Experience with CRM solutions, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
Key proficiencies include significant project management skills, business case creation, and business solution requirement development. The candidate should be proficient in business process design and re-engineering, with functional knowledge of Salesforce processes and order management. Change leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and risk assessment are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in the healthcare industry and the ability to work efficiently in a global, multicultural environment are preferred.
