IT Business Analyst - Territory Management

What's the role?

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Sales and Marketing team. In this role, you will contribute to developing an end-to-end, in-house Territory Management digital solution aimed at optimizing our sales approach and impacting our large Hilti sales force. Collaborating closely with business counterparts, IT departments, and external partners, you will leverage our portfolio of cutting-edge cloud and on-premises technologies to achieve visionary business objectives in Territory Management across Hilti worldwide.

What does the role involve?

At Hilti, we build direct customer relationships through a well-designed, user-centric Territory Management solution. As a Business Analyst, you will deliver tangible business impact by enabling our sales force to collaborate and succeed in strategically targeted territories, contributing to global customer growth.

You will own, manage, and develop Territory Management solutions built on Microservices on AWS, Java, and SAP S/4HANA. Working closely with international business and IT teams in an Agile Scrum environment, you will analyze and implement business requirements for innovative solutions based on user needs and strategic goals, utilizing emerging technologies. You will engage directly with end-users to understand workflows, identify pain points, and propose productivity-enhancing solutions.

By advocating for Territory Management solutions and managing stakeholders across the global organization, you will interact with various IT functions and business partners, both internal and external. What you need is:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology-related fields (e.g., Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science) or Business-related fields with a passion for digital solutions
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst
• Experience with Sales and Marketing IT or SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes, digital solution design, stakeholder coordination, and Agile development practices
• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working in an international environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills; leadership and project management experience are advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to connect with global partners, inspire, influence, and achieve goals
• Fluency in spoken and written English
