What's the role?

As an IT Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between Business counterparts and Global IT. You will provide professional advice on incidents and transfer business requirements into implementations for solutions. You will contribute to building digital solutions in our application landscape, which includes mobile applications, cloud-based solutions, and a backend based on our ERP solutions.

The IT Business Analyst role allows you to own a specific topic within our unique solution stacks, manage its professional operation, and translate customer needs into new product features. You will collaborate with the product manager and product owner to define requirements and partner with technical staff to develop convincing solution alternatives.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Business Analyst - SAP PM/QM - Manufacturing & Industry 4.0, you will play a crucial role in advancing our vision of smart digital manufacturing. Your responsibilities include defining, implementing, and optimizing new functionalities while enhancing existing ones, supporting business operations, driving change management, and collaborating with other analysts, key users, and IT teams.

You should have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and agility to design and develop effective solutions. Leverage your skills to map current business scenarios to future states, design solutions aligned with our vision, and utilize SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ME/DM, and SAP Business ByDesign. Lead IT initiatives related to plant maintenance, quality, and other areas within a high-end SAP S/4HANA environment.

What you need is:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (PhD is a plus)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with S/4HANA ERP modules QM, PM, PP, or related
• Strong organizational skills with an agile, result-oriented approach
• Willingness to work closely with business counterparts to define and drive solutions
• Entrepreneurial attitude—own topics and deliver success
• Passion for technology-driven solutions and continuous improvement
• ABAP development skills are advantageous
• Fluent in English (verbal and written); German is a plus
