An IT consultancy firm in Selangor is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to coordinate projects and provide IT support. Responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, troubleshooting user issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years of IT experience, including knowledge of SAP Business One and M365.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Project & User Management
    1) Main liaison personnel to coordinate project/troubleshooting issues with users and vendor, in order to resolve issues and meet project deadlines.
  • 2) Manage IT projects and ensure successful implementation. Participate in the full project cycle of system requirement study, analysis and design, testing, training and documentation and manage the release of change requests and new systems into production system.
  • 3) Assist in setting up new user\'s email/user account and computer system with proper access rights assigned for new user onboarding and exit process.
  • 4) To plan, implement, monitor and upgrade security measures for company users.
  • 5) Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - network hardware and software, users support, security, and backup.
  • IT Support
  • 1) Act as 1st & 2nd level support in resolving hardware and software/application issues. Ability to provide recommendations to improve the overall operations and efficiencies of the applications to support current and meet new business requirements.
  • 2) Ensure timely deployment of various IT security patches, and firmware for network devices, servers, and other devices.
  • 3) Establish an effective monitoring mechanism to monitor the health status of servers and network devices.
  • 4) To manage outsourcing vendors to ensure services provided are in accordance with SLA for Infrastructure services and end-user support. And review & ensure issues case logs are resolved.
  • 5) Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as software updates & patches.
  • Others
  • 1) Assist in IT asset management, including inventory tracking, maintenance and ensuring up-to-date assets list.
  • 2) Able to conduct IT training for end users.
  • 3) Perform IT ad hoc tasks assigned by Manager from time to time.
Qualifications
  • REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in IT/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT.
  • Experience in full project lifecycle and project management is preferred.
  • Experience in handling administration & support of SAP Business One, M365, SharePoint, Power Apps/Automation, Power BI environment.
  • Good knowledge in programming standards, database management (Microsoft SQL), Server and Network management.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Candidate must possess own transport to work.
