What's the role?

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a background as an SAP FICO consultant. You will work on topics related to General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Accounts Payable, and more. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of the implementation project team for our plants, providing professional advice, performing hands-on customizations, migrations, and translating business requirements into implementations. Your role involves building end-to-end solutions within our SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public landscape, supporting global projects, managing daily support requests and incidents, and ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements across Hilti subsidiaries worldwide. Your innovative mindset will help enable business excellence and enhance user satisfaction through value-adding global IT solutions.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will identify and analyze business requirements to develop innovative IT solutions aligned with strategic needs. You will work on our SAP landscape towards S/4HANA Cloud Public for Finance & Controlling processes, designing global solution concepts, system architecture, and validating technical and business feasibility. You will implement and support global IT solutions that innovate Finance & Controlling processes, leveraging emerging technologies. Collaboration with stakeholders including business teams, IT, and external partners is essential. You will also recommend process improvements, solve business problems, create innovative solutions, and enable business excellence. Functional and technical experience in Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting), Sales & Distribution interfaces, basic tax accounting understanding, and debugging skills in ABAP are advantageous.

What you need is:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in SAP ERP 6.0 or S/4HANA, focusing on Finance (General Ledger, AR, Asset Accounting), including interfaces with external systems.
• Good understanding of finance and controlling business processes, especially integration with Sales & Distribution in a global enterprise context.
• Strong drive for success and high commitment.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, customer orientation, and self-responsibility.
• Experience working in international, virtual, and geographically dispersed teams.
