Job summary

PwC is seeking a Manager in Digital Assurance and Transparency in Malaysia to lead IT controls assurance and related projects across finance and IT. You will identify risks, design controls, and guide teams through complex client engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes for financial reporting and compliance.

You will interact with clients, manage project plans and budgets, and contribute to PwC's thought leadership on cloud, AI, and security technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven record in controls around financial reporting, compliance and operational processes including IT controls.
• Experience in IT risk assessment and control design across finance and IT domains.
• Strong project management and client interfacing skills with ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT controls assurance or controls readiness projects for audits or SOC reports.
• Identify key risks and controls; recommend improved controls and assess configurations in business processes and IT infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of tailored work programs and assist clients in identifying additional service opportunities.
• Understand client business and technology to identify further opportunities and coordinate project planning and execution.
• Demonstrate extensive project management and team leadership, balancing workloads and delivering client expectations.
