Job summary

Plassein Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Management Representative to lead ISO 9001:2015 compliance. You will develop and implement quality standards, maintain the QMS, and oversee audits across the organization.

You will manage non-conformances and CAPA, lead the quality team, and coordinate with production, engineering and supply chain to drive continuous improvement. Mandarin fluency is essential for interactions with Chinese-speaking partners.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or Mechatronic/Electromechanical.
• Preferably at least 5 years of working experience in injection molding.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is essential for direct communication with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers and management.
• Capable of conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as QMR – Quality Management Representative for ISO 9001:2015.
• Develop and implement quality standards and ensure adherence to quality system requirements.
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and conduct internal audits annually.
• Oversee QA/QC processes; supervise inspections, testing and evaluation of products.
• Lead the quality team; manage and train QA personnel.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances; drive CAPA.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits; liaise with auditors and regulators.
• Maintain records and dashboards; drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen.
