About the Role

  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and educational engagements to address inquiries, ensure satisfaction, and promote awareness of IWM offerings.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships by providing personalized Islamic Wealth Management solutions aligned with clients’ financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth of Islamic Wealth Management by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with Client Advisors and Relationship Managers across segments to promote Islamic wealth solutions and expand market reach.
  • Develop and manage Shariah-compliant investment portfolios tailored to clients’ financial goals and risk profiles, ensuring alignment with regulatory and Shariah requirements.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and developments, particularly in Pillar 4 and 5, to deliver relevant and up-to-date Islamic wealth advice.
  • Carry out all levels of work within the existing audit, compliance, and regulatory framework in order to ensure a high quality, compliance IWM product suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Preferably with prior roles as a Financial Planner, Product Specialist, or fiduciary, with strong expertise in financial planning, wealth management, trust, estate administration, and estate planning.
  • Possesses advanced qualifications and certifications such as Islamic Financial Planner (IFP), Module 6 & 7 (SC), Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC), FIMM license, CEILLI, PCE, TBE, or other relevant credentials.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills, with the ability to manage the end-to-end client engagement process and ensure a strong client experience.
  • Skilled in coaching, group presentations, and customizing content to suit varying client profiles; a collaborative team player with strong technical and advisory capabilities.
  • Proficient in constructing and executing comprehensive financial planning strategies tailored to client needs, with strong analytical skills in interpreting financial data and aligning with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs accurately and deliver personalized, needs-based Islamic financial solutions, supported by deep product and market knowledge.
