Job Title: Inspector, Incoming QA Inspection / Inspector, In-Process QA Inspection / Inspector, Lot Qualification Inspection

Manager/Supervisor: Quality Engineer

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will perform QA acceptance activities for incoming, in-process, and lot qualification inspections to support Insulet Malaysia manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform inspections, testing, and measurements for incoming, in-process, or lot qualification according to work instructions and procedures.
  2. Generate required documentation and record data for inspections, tests, and measurements in systems like MES/SAP, following Good Documentation Practices.
  3. Handle and operate QC dimensional measuring instruments such as measuring smart scope, CMM, OGP, digital calipers, and microscopes.
  4. Operate testing equipment including roughness testers, spring latch testers, leak testers, etc.
  5. Accept or reject inspections based on quality standards and report deviations or non-conformances promptly.
  6. Participate in troubleshooting QA inspection issues and escalate when necessary.
  7. Ensure inspection outputs meet targets without compromising quality.
  8. Maintain 5S standards and safety in the workplace and with equipment.
  9. Support quality management processes such as raising NCMRs, handling MRBs, and other related duties.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum SPM or equivalent, with relevant experience.
  2. 1-2 years of QA/QC inspection experience, preferably in the medical device industry, involving visual inspection, measurement instruments, force measurement, and functional testing.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Malay.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
  5. Team-oriented with good communication skills with leaders and colleagues.
  6. Capable of performing tasks accurately and reliably.
