Datametrics Research & Information Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a driven Research Intern to support our IPO-focused research team by gathering and organizing industry data and performing basic analyses. This internship provides hands-on experience in market research and data analysis across various industries.

The internship is office-based, full-time, and ideal for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in market research and data analysis. An internship allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of research methodologies and data interpretation.
• Strong interest in market research, business analysis, or consulting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage tasks within deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection from secondary sources and help compile findings in a structured manner.
• Support the team in organizing research materials and preparing initial drafts of reports and presentations.
• Assist in primary research, including drafting questionnaires, coordinating interviews with industry participants, and summarising insights from respondents.
• Conduct background research on industry trends and market dynamics.
• Help maintain and update internal databases and case studies.
• Provide general administrative support for the research team.
