Our client is an international firm in KL. They are looking for a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IP, especially in trademark prosecution, to join them.

Responsibilities

1. Manages local and overseas Trademark prosecution from Application till Registration including search advice, hearings, and oppositions.
2. Attend ex parte hearings before Trademark Registrations.
3. Manages and works with IP staff and executives supporting trademark portfolio management.
4. Assist in trademark expungement actions.
5. Advise clients on all aspects of trademark law and IP laws.

Requirements

1. 2 to 4 years post-admission experience.
2. Strong technical skills with a minimum upper 2nd class law degree from a well-regarded university.
3. Experience in a top-tier environment will be well regarded but not essential.
4. Ability to identify issues and possession of sound judgment are essential.
5. Committed and driven with a strong sense of accountability.
6. Outgoing personality and leadership qualities.
7. Team player.
8. Willing to travel.
