About the role

Tuah Bersatu Jaya Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IOW Electrical professional to join our engineering team in Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations, focusing on electrical systems installation, operation, and maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical infrastructure, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. Key responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment in accordance with design specifications and industry standards
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective measures promptly and efficiently
• Operate electrical systems and monitor their performance during project execution
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports on electrical work completed, including as-built drawings and test results
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and company safety policies
• Support the planning and execution of electrical work schedules and resource allocation

What we’re looking for

• Qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent recognised certification
• Proven experience in electrical installation, operation, and maintenance within industrial or commercial environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and relevant industry standards
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driving license or willingness to obtain one
• Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office applications is desirable
