Mercedes-Benz Tech Malaysia (MBTMY) seeks an experienced Senior iOS App Developer to advance complex mobile apps and reusable SDKs. You will work with Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI, embracing MVVM, concurrency, and modern iOS patterns. Hybrid work is available at the Wisma Mercedes-Benz office in Puchong.

The role focuses on upgrading established codebases toward modern architectures, collaborating on CI/CD, and delivering SDKs as packages.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of iOS development experience
• Experience delivering complex iOS projects and production apps
• Hands-on iOS and SDK development
• Strong Swift knowledge including Swift 6
• Proficient with UIKit and SwiftUI
• Experience migrating UIKit to SwiftUI
• Good MVVM understanding
• Strong Swift Concurrency knowledge (async/await, Actors)
• Experience with Combine
• Experience delivering SDKs as packages (SPM)
• Familiar with Tuist and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/Fastlane)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS App Developer to contribute to complex mobile applications and reusable SDK solutions. The role requires strong Swift expertise, modern iOS engineering practices, application‑to‑SDK thinking, and experience evolving established codebases toward modern architectures and user‑interface frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance high‑quality iOS applications and SDK components.
• Develop solutions using Swift and Swift 6 following modern iOS engineering practices.
• Work across UIKit and SwiftUI, including migration of established UIKit components to SwiftUI.
• Apply MVVM to build maintainable, testable and scalable application components.
• Implement asynchronous features using Swift Concurrency, including async/await and Actors.
• Build, maintain and distribute reusable SDK components through Swift Package Manager and Swift Packages.
• Support project configuration and generation using Tuist.
• Collaborate through GitHub and/or GitLab, including code reviews and branching practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Fastlane.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support continuous engineering improvement.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of relevant iOS development experience.
• Experience delivering complex iOS projects and production applications.
• Hands‑on experience in both iOS application development and SDK development.
• Very good knowledge of Swift, including Swift 6.
• Strong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Experience migrating applications or components from UIKit to SwiftUI.
• Good understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Swift Concurrency, especially async/await and Actors.
• Experience with Combine.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager, Swift Packages and delivering SDKs as packages.
• Experience with Tuist.
• Experience using GitHub and/or GitLab.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, particularly Jenkins and Fastlane.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Swift Macros.
• Basic understanding or practical experience using AI tools within the software‑development process.
