Job Description
- Assist in processing and settlement of investment trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support daily operational tasks such as trade confirmations, fund valuations, cash and position reconciliations.
- Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and brokers to resolve discrepancies or trade issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in investment systems, databases, and reports.
- Monitor and update market and security data, ensuring consistency and reliability of investment information.
- Assist in preparing regulatory, audit, and internal reporting.
- Work closely with investment teams, compliance, and finance to support fund activities and new product launches.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements within the investment operations function.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with internship or academic exposure to investment/financial markets are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of financial instruments (equities, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, etc.) and investment processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive learner with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in the investment industry
