Job summary

AYS Ventures Berhad is seeking an Inventory Officer to join our Klang, Selangor team for a full-time role focused on maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock movement, and optimizing warehouse operations.

You will collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and operations to ensure optimal stock levels and drive continuous improvements in inventory processes. 2+ years of relevant experience and a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of inventory control or warehouse operations experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, building materials, or logistics is advantageous.
• Familiar with inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the inventory management system.
• Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper stock storage and organization.
• Liaise with the procurement team to maintain appropriate inventory levels and reorder points.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Support inventory audits and provide relevant documentation when required.
• Recommend and implement improvements to inventory control procedures and processes.
