We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive, e-Commerce Operations to join our team. This role will oversee all aspects of our warehouse and inventory management, ensuring efficient and accurate operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, team leadership, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of stock levels. Implement appropriate inventory control measures to minimise discrepancies and avoid issues such as stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Oversee the entire order fulfilment process, including the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Optimise operational procedures to meet delivery timelines and liaise with the logistics team to ensure prompt dispatch of goods.
- Design and maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout. Establish a systematic method for storing and retrieving items, while continuously monitoring workflows to reduce inefficiencies and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Utilise relevant technologies to improve operational efficiency. Provide necessary training and support to team members in the use of technological tools for order processing and inventory management.
- Establish and uphold quality control standards for incoming and outgoing items. Implement inspection procedures to promptly identify and resolve any defects or quality issues.
- Supervise and provide leadership to warehouse staff. Offer guidance and conduct regular training sessions to enhance employee skills and productivity, while promoting a positive work culture that values teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training and respond swiftly to any safety or security concerns.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse operations. Analyse performance data to identify areas requiring improvement and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues related to customer orders. Ensure accuracy in order picking and adherence to delivery deadlines to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve greater overall efficiency in warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Ability to work weekend shifts and flexibility to do overtime when the business requires.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
