Inventory Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing material reports, and transfers.
2. Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
3. Check quantities based on system data versus physical counts.
4. Identify and address system transaction errors arising during counts.
5. Reconcile variances in a timely manner.
6. Follow up on stock adjustments with the respective area PIC after variance confirmation, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
7. Additional operations include:
   • Publishing aging materials reports weekly.
   • Performing other tasks assigned by superiors and the Head of Department.
8. Collaboration with warehouse supervisor:
   • Maintain housekeeping at all times.
   • Ensure FIFO system compliance.
   • Enhance ESD control according to SOP.
   • Ensure materials are properly stored and labels are visible.
9. Ensure security and safety of materials.

Requirements:

• SPM diploma or higher qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a contract manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with stock counting and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (BaaN/SAP/inforLN preferred).
• Ability to work independently and with discipline.
