Job summary

You will assist with copywriting, basic visual content creation, and maintain a consistent brand voice and posting calendar. You will monitor engagement, respond to comments under supervision, and compile simple performance reports. Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to support campaigns and stay updated on social media

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Social Media Marketing and Content Creation.
• Foundational knowledge of Digital Marketing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adapt tone for audiences.
• Pursuing or recently completed diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or related field.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site internship role based in Shah Alam for a Social Media Intern (Urgent). The intern will support daily social media activities, including planning, creating, and scheduling content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Responsibilities include assisting with copywriting, basic visual content creation, and coordinating with the team to maintain a consistent brand voice and posting calendar. The role also involves monitoring social media engagement, responding to comments or messages under supervision, and compiling simple performance reports. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and digital teams to support campaigns, brainstorm ideas, and stay updated on social media trends relevant to SMARTSEL’s target audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
• Foundational knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles.
• Effective written and verbal Communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with social media analytics and content scheduling tools is an advantage.
• Creative, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Shah Alam.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and show strong attention to detail.
