Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Internship – Social Media role based in Shah Alam. The intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms in line with SMARTSEL’s brand voice and campaign objectives. Daily tasks include drafting posts, designing basic visual content, monitoring channels, engaging with audiences, and supporting social media calendars. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to gather information, tracking basic performance metrics, and suggesting ideas to improve reach and engagement. The intern will gain exposure to digital marketing campaigns and contribute to initiatives that promote SMARTSEL’s services and smart state projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support online campaigns and audience engagement.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop relevant and compelling posts for target audiences.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with teams and convey messages clearly across platforms.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and familiarity with content scheduling tools is an advantage.
• Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and work on-site in Shah Alam for the duration of the internship.
