Job summary

multi color corp in Malaysia is hiring for a Data Quality/Master Data role focused on maintaining data integrity across key systems. You will support data governance, design processes, and collaborate with data stewards to ensure accurate, complete master data and enterprise data security.

The role requires a science degree with a strong attitude, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic Shared Services Centre environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related fields with CGPA 3.0+.
• Experience or exposure to master data management and data governance.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master data integrity in key systems and support data quality processes.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues using appropriate control and improvement methods.
• Ensure data quality and governance across enterprise systems with data owners.
• Collaborate with SMEs and data stewards to implement data strategy and standards.
• Assist in problem resolution and revisions to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Support data management governance and ensure consistency with business rules.
• Coordinate with business/IT to align master data rules with applications.

Job Descriptions

• Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
• Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
• In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
• Manages, analyses, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
• Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
• Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.

Job Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree of Science in Actuarial Studies, Information System, Mathematics or Business Studies, with minimum CGPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrate a positive working attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
