Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is offering an internship in Digitalization & Productivity within the Industrial Engineering team in Malaysia. You will support productivity improvements and transform manufacturing data into actionable insights using generative AI and programming.

The role focuses on leveraging AI to optimize the 4M framework (Machine, Man, Method, Layout) and layout planning across Infineon BE global operations, with involvement in AI solution development and performance benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field and minimum CGPA 3.00.
• Preferred internship period of 3 months and above.
• Strong programming focus and data-driven mindset.

Intern for Digitalization & Productivity within the Industrial Engineering (IE) team.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role: Supporting for productivity, efficiency, and transforming traditional manufacturing data into intelligent, actionable insights.

Your mission is to understand how to leverage on Generative AI and advanced programming to optimize the "4M" + Layout planning (Machine, Man, Method, Layout Planning) across Infineon's BE global operations.

You will be involved in the technical development of AI/Digitalization solutions that enhance our current performance dashboards, automate complex benchmarking, predict & harvest global efficiency gaps.

Qualifications and skills

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering (with a programming focus), or a related technical field. Minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above. Preferred internship period 3 months and above.
