Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America LLC offers an Internship in Data Analyst Controlling focused on optimizing finance and controlling processes for the MBPLAP entity. You will assist in reporting financial KPIs for planning and actuals, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual management reviews.

You will perform variance analysis and help drive automation by developing automated planning and actuals tracking using Power BI, Python, KNIME, and Excel, with strong English communication throughout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or preferably Business Informatics (mandatory).
• Proficiency in software and data analytics tools, including Power BI, Python, KNIME, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Solid understanding of overall financial processes.
• Proactive, open-minded, curious and collaborative approach.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets.

Responsibilities

• You will assist in the reporting of all financial key performance indicators of an entity including pricing, expenses, revenue, investment and stock on hand for both planning and actuals process and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for Management reviews.
• You will perform variance analysis to explain deviations from targets in actuals vs. planning and provide transparency to selected stakeholders.
• You will help us to drive automation and data processing by assisting the development an automated planning and actuals tracking process for selected key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to stakeholders using data analytics and visualization tools as well as a reporting and integration platform.

For our parts logistics operations entity (MBPLAP), we are optimizing up the finance & controlling processes and thereby strive for digital and automized processes. Within Controlling department, you will take responsibility in following areas:

Data Analyst Controlling
