Job summary

Virtuos Games in Malaysia invites motivated students to join our internship program in game development. You will work with a mentor engineer and a line producer, contributing to coding, testing, and tooling for our projects, while learning our engineering standards.

The role requires basic knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine 4 or 5, solid English communication, and familiarity with Agile/SCRUM. We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and collaborative, with availability to start as soon as

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of C++ programming.
• Familiar with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Good command of English for speaking and writing.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code, write technical documentation.
• Research, analyze and report risks/problems/solution required by projects and future developments.
• Profiling code to optimize software components of a game.
• Research cutting-edge algorithms and techniques.
• Create tools, feature and engine components up to required coding standards.
• Create leading edge reusable technologies, both systems and engines if required.
• Work with a mentor engineer and a line producer and report to them
• Follow Agile/SCRUM processes.
