Job summary

Counterpunch A Virtuos Studio in Kuala Lumpur invites talented interns to join our game development team. You will work under a mentor engineer, assisting with C++ coding and engine tooling in Unreal Engine 4/5 to help deliver features.

The position is open to Malaysians only and requires strong English communication. You will participate in Agile/SCRUM processes and gain hands-on experience in professional game development.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in C++ language.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Good communication skills in English and able to work in English-speaking working environment.
• Available for internship and Malaysians only.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code, write technical documentation.
• Research, analyze and report risks/problems/solution required by projects and future developments.
• Profiling code to optimize software components of a game.
• Research cutting-edge algorithms and techniques.
• Create tools, feature and engine components up to required coding standards.
• Create leading edge reusable technologies, both systems and engines if required.
• Work with a mentor engineer and a line producer and report to them
• Follow Agile/SCRUM processes.
