Job summary

A leading energy company is seeking a dynamic intern for a Process Safety role at their Kuala Lumpur office. The ideal candidate is a Chemical Engineering student eager to learn and start their internship from January 2026. Responsibilities include supporting engineering teams in safety assessments like HAZOP and contributing to office activities such as training. A minimum CGPA of 3.0 is required for eligibility. This role provides valuable exposure within the energy sector during a minimum commitment of 8 weeks to a maximum of 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Safety GTS in delivering services to the operating plant.

• Involve in office matters like training and team engagement.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about Process Safety in PETRONAS.
The student who searching for compulsory internship with University letter Jan 2026 onward in order to complete their degree preferable in Chemical Engineering

Durations: Minimum eight (8) weeks and maximum of twelve (12) months
CGPA : >3.0
Locations: PETRONAS Tower 3 KLCC (Level 12)

The student will required to support Process Safety GTS in delivering the services to PETRONAS Operating Plant or Project such as HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, Fire Safety, Hazardous Area Classification (HAC), Loss Prevention etc. with supervision by Engineers/TPs.

In addition to the day to day work, the student also need to involve in Section/Department office matters such as training and team engagement.
