Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Live Host to engage audiences in real-time across online platforms. The role requires excellence in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus a track record in building positive communities during live broadcasts.

You will work with familiar live streaming setups, handle audience questions, demo products, and collaborate with marketing to plan schedules and promotions. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Live Host or similar role, engaging audiences in real-time through various online platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to articulate information clearly and enthusiastically.
• Demonstrated ability in customer engagement, building rapport, and fostering a positive community atmosphere during live sessions.
• Familiarity with live streaming software and hardware, including camera operation, lighting, and sound setup.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the audience in real-time during live streaming sessions, fostering a dynamic and interactive environment.
• Host and present product demonstrations, promotions, and events in an engaging and informative manner.
• Develop and execute creative content ideas for live broadcasts to attract and retain viewers.
• Respond to audience questions and comments promptly and professionally, building rapport and trust.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and coordinate live hosting schedules and promotional activities.
• Analyze live stream performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize engagement strategies.
• Ensure a high-quality broadcast experience by managing technical aspects of the live stream, such as audio and video quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with viewers, encouraging repeat engagement and brand loyalty.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
