We are offering an internship opportunity for an Instrument Technician at ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer Sdn. Bhd. (ABF). The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in instrumentation, control processes, and plant operations within our Maintenance department.
As an Internship for Instrument Technician, you will be an integral part of the ABFSB Sec Maintenance Technical Support team. Your primary focus will be to assist in the maintenance and optimization of our instrumentation systems, ensuring smooth control processes and efficient plant operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Monitor and analyze control processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of instrumentation-related issues.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement process improvements.
- Document and report on instrumentation system performance and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify potential instrumentation issues.
- Support the training and development of junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Diploma in Petroleum Engineering (Instrumentation and Plant Control) or a related field.
