Job summary

Maxsmart Sdn Bhd is seeking an Internship for a Digital Marketing Executive in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on social media content creation, video production, and on-site IT/AV support for events and showroom activities.

The candidate should be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related fields, with familiarity in major social platforms and basic video editing skills. Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication are required; independent and team-oriented work is valued.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, IT, or related field.
• Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
• Create short-form videos including product demos, before-and-after showcases, tips, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Capture photo and video content during events, exhibitions, product launches, and showroom activities.
• Edit videos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Write engaging captions and schedule postings.
• Monitor comments and enquiries, forwarding sales leads to the sales team.
• Track content performance and prepare simple weekly reports.
• Maintain a content calendar for consistent posting.
• Stay updated with social media trends and propose new ideas.
• Set up and test interactive displays, projectors, and AV equipment before meetings and events.
• Provide on-site IT support during demos and events.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, audio, video, and connectivity issues.
• Assist in configuring interactive panels and AV gear.
• Prepare and inspect equipment before bookings.
• Maintain inventory and keep cables and accessories organized.
• Support routine maintenance and firmware updates.
• Assist the sales team during customer demonstrations.

Responsibility

Social Media & Content Creation (Primary Role)

• Plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms for Hytech and Maxsmart.

• Create engaging short-form videos, including product demonstrations, before-and-after showcases, quick tips, customer success stories, and behind-the-scenes content.

• Capture photo and video content during events, exhibitions, product launches, and showroom activities.

• Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.

• Write engaging captions aligned with our brand voice and schedule content postings.

• Monitor comments, messages, and social media interactions, forwarding sales enquiries to the relevant sales team.

• Track content performance, including views, engagement, shares, and enquiries, and prepare simple weekly reports.

• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and content planning.

• Stay updated with social media trends and propose fresh content ideas.

Event & Showroom IT Support

• Set up and test interactive displays, smart panels, projectors, video conferencing systems, microphones, and sound equipment before meetings, demos, and events.

• Provide on-site technical support during customer demonstrations, training sessions, and company events.

• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, audio, video, and connectivity issues.

• Assist in configuring and operating interactive panels, projectors, and AV equipment.

• Prepare, inspect, and test equipment before scheduled bookings and presentations.

• Help maintain inventory and ensure AV equipment, cables, and accessories are properly organized and in good working condition.

• Support routine maintenance such as firmware/software updates, equipment cleaning, and replacement of consumables when required.

• Assist the sales team during customer demonstrations and product showcases.
