Job summary

DHL Express in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Customer Service professional to deliver value-added support to nominated major accounts. You will work closely with Commercial, Operations and Gateway teams to ensure the highest level of service and SLA compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma (or higher), with at least 2 years in customer service, and demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Customer Service in a service-related industry.
• Excellent spoken and written language skills with a cheerful, confident, professional and courteous tone.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relates well with a wide range of employees/customers.
• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably Degree Holder (Undergraduate).

Responsibilities

• Provide pro-active customer service to nominated major accounts by handling all regular and ad-hoc enquiries, coordinating with Commercial, Operations and Gateway teams.
• Understand the customer industry, business and SLA to ensure consistent service experience.
• Adhere to Centre of Excellence standards and guidelines in daily operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Offer the full suite of customer service offerings (bookings, enquiries, tracking, etc.) to Key Account customers and customized contracted services.
• Proactively alert customers on shipment delays and perform service recovery.
• Visit key account customers with sales staff to solicit feedback and improve service.
• Collaborate with Gateway, Operations and DHL Network to achieve transit times and service levels.
• Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell of value-added services.
